Rates are inclusive of 15% VAT. Subject to change without prior notification. Rates are quoted per room per night and include breakfast. Rack rates quoted are net & Non-Commissionable. The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa unilaterally reserves the right to automatically, without prior notice, increase the rates accordingly should such Government taxes or levies be amended or should a further tax or levy be introduced during the duration of this Agreement. *Hotel vehicle transfers to and from Cape Town International Airport at an additional cost of R600.00 and is subject to booking and availability.

RATES

All room rates and fees are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include 15% VAT. Room Rates
inclusions, and room occupancies are as stated in your confirmation and may be subject to change at any time without notice.

PAYMENT GUARANTEE POLICY

A valid credit card guarantee is required at time of booking and a reservation will be deemed confirmed after processing of all deposits and payments according to the below terms. The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa reserves the right to release bookings without prior notice if full payment is not received on time. Confirmation is also subject to receiving all guest names, particularly for multiple room bookings.
An online payment link is available for secure credit card payments and the card utilised for this (and all online bookings) must also be presented by the card holder upon check-in, accompanied by passport or ID verification.
In addition, other Deposit and Payment terms and condition apply.
Cancellation policy Should you wish to cancel your booking; a 100% cancellation fee will be charged for guaranteed reservations that fail to arrive or bookings cancelled within seven days of arrival. Bookings cancelled 8-60 days prior to arrival will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. Bookings cancelled more 90 days prior to arrival 0% cancellation fee will be charged. An additional R300 administration fee applies. In the event of a premature departure the full extent of the stay originally booked and confirmed will be charged.

Early Departures or No-Shows

A fee equivalent to 100% per night plus taxes for early departures applies. In the event of a no-show (i.e. you neither use nor cancel your reservation), a fee equivalent to the value of the entire stay will be incurred. Early departures or cancellations due to inclement weather are fully chargeable.

Travel Insurance

The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa reserves the right not to provide exemptions from its cancellation policy for medical or personal matters, inclement weather, or other circumstances. It is recommended to purchase adequate travel insurance prior to confirmation and acceptance of terms, conditions, and cancellation policy.

COVID-19 Update

In the event that there is a COVID-19 related travel ban, health or quarantine restriction at your point of departure or at the The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa destination that restricts you from traveling to your next destination, The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa will provide a full refund for a pre-paid reservation and/or waive all applicable penalties. In the event that you are in-residence at the hotel and unable to depart The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa destination on schedule due to a COVID-19 travel ban, health or quarantine restriction, the hotel will extend your stay based on a discretionary reduced rate off Best Available Rate (BAR).

ADDITIONAL GUESTS AND CHILDREN SURCHARGES

Subject to the maximum occupancy applicable by room, the following applies for additional guests:

  • Children under the age of 8 years – are not permitted
  • infants of 2 years and under  – a fee of ZAR 950 per guest per night applies year-round to secure a cot bed or a rollaway if required.

Group Bookings

A maximum of five rooms may be booked through the website. Please ensure you provide full names for each room, otherwise the duplicate name reservation may be cancelled. Please email info@glenhotel.co.za for reservations of 6 rooms or more.

Minimum Age

There must be at least one guest of minimum 18 years of age, with a valid credit card in their name, present upon check-in. This guest must be holding the payment for the travelling party against this credit card.
