They are charmed by the warmth, humour and zest for life of our people. We realise that as South Africans we have so much more that we have created and of which we can be proud of and celebrate. We recognise that we are privileged to enjoy the best of South Africa here at The Glen Boutique Hotel & Spa, but that the vast majority of South Africans are not as fortunate as we are. So part of being South African is that we make a contribution, in our own way, to improve the lives of those less fortunate than us.
To assist with the quality holistic Early Childhood Development in an environment which is conducive to early learning, Create employment with reasonable pay within the community, for the community, to help break the cycle of poverty.
Provide the children with balanced nutrition that is a crucial factor in the physical and mental development of youth in their early life stages crisis in South Africa.
About Little Lamb
The Little Lambs Foundation was set up in 1999 by Elke Zwicker – (SEEDS Trustee – Sponsoring)
Little Lambs continues to receive capital for project funding, mainly from Germany and Switzerland through its parent the SEEDS Trust and from “Kinderhilfe Kapstadt”. The operating costs are serviced from interest earned from the invested capital, monthly school fees paid by the parents, Social Services and Department of Education grants and from sponsorships and donations made by local businesses and individuals.
The operations are well managed within approved budgets and a sound basis for the future is in place.
