From Sea Point to Cape Point, start your day with a relaxing scenic drive through Camps Bay towards Hout Bay. Visit the Hout Bay harbour market on weekends or take a boat ride to Seal Island before continuing on the magnificent Chapman’s Peak Drive, one of the top scenic drives in South Africa. Visit many of the Peninsula seaside villages and capture the beauty of the rugged rocky peninsula coastline extending into the Atlantic Ocean.
Your return journey will be on the Eastern side of the Cape Peninsula passing Boulders Beach, known for its penguin colony and through Simon’s Town, South Africa’s naval base.
Visit the eclectic Kalk Bay with its unique village atmosphere. Enjoy a quick stroll along the harbour front or main street where you can shop for antiques, visit craft shops or have lunch at the Harbour House. Capture a memorable photograph of the multi coloured beach huts or swim in the tidal pool both located in
St. James Bay. On your way towards Muizenberg, a surfers paradise, you might even be able to spot a whale or great white shark from Boyes Drive, known for its magnificent views of False Bay.
